The Berkshire Vaccine Collaborative has created a centralized website for all information about its vaccination clinics in Berkshire County. We are holding clinics at three locations—Great Barrington, Pittsfield, and North Adams—and will continue to open appointments at new clinics as vaccine supply becomes available from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Please visit www.GetVaccinatedBerkshires.org for the most up-to-date vaccination information and to access the appointment registration system (also available en Espanol). You can also call the Berkshire Vaccination Hotline at 413-449-5575 for an audio recording summarizing the latest information. Seniors who do not have internet access can contact their local council on aging for assistance with appointment registration. Currently, Massachusetts is taking vaccination appointments for Phase 2. MA residents 75 years old and older (and anyone who was eligible in Phase 1) can register for a clinic appointment.

A Message from Northern Berkshire Community Coaliition... Seeking volunteers for Community Outreach Training:We are actively seeking applicants for our Community Outreach Volunteer Training. The training takes place over a five-month period and meets every Monday from 5:30pm-8pm beginning in mid-February. As part of the training, participants will learn about the many health and human service providers and community organizations in the Northern Berkshire area. In many instances they will become the critical link between services and residents. If you are interested, please reach out to Dan Weissbrodt at Dweissbrodt@nbccoalition.org. For more information, see the FAQ. Thank you.

The 3.59% positivity rate for the 15 collective towns has triggered the continuation of remote learning through February 12, 2021. The winter break begins with President’s Day on Monday, February 15, 2021 and continues through to Friday, February 19, 2021. There is no school and no remote classes for students on these days. School will reconvene on Monday February 22, 2021 in the hybrid model for students in Cohort A. We will begin our COVID Pooled Testing Program that week. Please look for the announcement for an online parent/guardian forum for Tuesday, February 9th, at 6:30 pm. This forum will provide background and information on informed consent for this program.
