Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25th and running until Friday, August 16th, North Adams Public Schools are once again participating in #SummerEatsMA this summer to ensure that every kid has access to the food they need to thrive by providing free, nutritious meals throughout the summer! Free meals are available to ALL kids + teens all summer long. No sign-up, no I.D. required, just stop by! Our schedule for the summer is below. Grab & Go Meals on Tuesdays & Fridays: Mohawk Apartments 11:00 - 11:30 Colegrove Elementary 11:30 - 12:00 Greylock Apartments 12:00 - 12:30 In-Person Lunch Service Monday- Friday: Noel Field Splash Pad 12:30 - 1:00 Starting Monday, July 1st, we will also add In-Person Lunch Service Monday- Friday: Greylock Elementary 12:00 - 12:30 (Please note: The Splash Pad and Greylock will be closed on July 4th)

🎉 On May 28th, our 8th graders from Drury High School joined MCLA’s “8th Grade Career Experience” alongside peers from across the county! 🌟 They got to choose and attend two out of 18 amazing workshops to explore various career fields. A few highlights included: 🌱 Agriculture and Natural Resources with Second Chance Composting 💼 Business/Finance Management hosted by Greylock Federal Credit Union 🏛️ Government and Public Service represented by the Town of Adams This enriching experience followed Drury’s own Career Fair last week. Community organization Hoosac Harvest announces its annual seedling swap will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024, as part of the North Adams Farmer’s Market on Main Street in downtown North Adams. Community members are invited to bring seedlings to swap, or to come without seedlings and just choose offerings for their spring gardens. All seedlings are free--you don’t need to bring some to swap to take some home. Donations to Hoosac Harvest are encouraged. Seedlings to share can be extra vegetables or flowers that you bought or grew and can even be cuttings or plants that you have too many of in your yard. Bring and share what you can.
