THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE INCLUDING US RIGHT NOW (Dance/Movement)
Week 2: August 7 – August 11, 2023
How do you tell the history of the universe through movement? What can we communicate with the stretch of an arm or the stomp of our feet? Under Spencer Finch’s expansive light installation, Cosmic Latte, campers will explore dance and movement to create a piece of choreography that explores the expansive everything that was and is. This week we will explore how art and dance can help us find our place in the universe.
Two-three full scholarship per camp is available for students from North Adams Public Schools and North Berkshire School Union, as well as Hoosac Valley, Morningside, Conte, and Capeless Elementary Schools.
